Racing with Life

I woke up with a hangover today. Hangover of my past life, hangover of the previous night, hangover of the transaction that takes place across two cities, it took me back by surprise. Everything was as clear as ice. I was baffled by the hyper intensity of time in Mumbai. Three days and my world started moving like a jet plane. The slow pace and the delicious comforts of being at your parent’s small town, made me take a back seat. Rejuvenation, relaxation, self-pampering, empty time at my disposal, things tend to ease out on you while holidaying.
But now am back and every second counts here. Every minute that I spend doing nothing has a cost attached to it. If I chance a back seat here, I’ll be turning my back on the millions of opportunities glaring at me to make a move, to contribute to a better world and more importantly a better me. So I tell my inner goddess to present her best self when she gets out of her bed every day, because it’s a matter of TIME and DEATH in order to achieve my greater self.
